Minuk Privacy Policy
The installed Minuk app has no accounts, analytics, telemetry, or tracking SDKs. This policy describes the macOS app; website visits and Square checkout are separate services.
Local Preferences
Selected cities, ordering, temperature unit preference (°C / °F), visual mode (Cozy / Plain), and menu bar icon choice are stored locally on the Mac inside standard macOS UserDefaults and never leave the device.
Weather Lookups
The next Minuk release uses Apple's WeatherKit for forecasts at the built-in coordinates of selected cities. It does not request personal GPS coordinates or use a location-permission prompt. Weather requests require a correctly provisioned, signed app; this release is still completing those checks.
Apple receives the selected city coordinates and ordinary network request metadata. Apple's WeatherKit documentation states that forecast locations are not associated with personally identifiable information and are not tracked between requests. See Apple's WeatherKit information.
This Website
The interactive clock uses illustrative sample weather and does not make live weather requests. The site uses a site-metrics script separately from the macOS app. Square processes purchases when sales are open; payment-card information is not collected by the app. Purchases are currently held until the new release is verified.
